Semi-dried fig is dried in specialised industrial ovens, with moisture content and other properties adjusted according to customer preferences. During harvest, fresh fig is washed, segmented, dried in ovens, and subsequently frozen — without the addition of any additives or preservatives.
Semi dried fig from Frenk's Aden carries the honeyed character for which Anatolian figs are known, in a soft frozen format. Ripe figs are washed, segmented and oven dried under controlled conditions, then frozen to hold their moist texture and deep natural sweetness. The ingredient list is deliberately short: 100% fig, with no additives, preservatives or added sugar of any kind.
For manufacturers, these fig segments are a premium inclusion across several categories. Bakery producers work them into breads, cakes and filled biscuits; confectionery and chocolate makers use them in bars and assortments; and breakfast cereal, muesli and trail mix brands rely on their rich flavour to anchor high-end blends. Private-label snacking ranges also benefit from the fig's strong shelf appeal.
We adjust moisture content to customer preferences and produce every batch in our BRC-certified facility in Turkey. Standard wholesale packaging is the 10 kg cardboard box, alongside 0.5 kg Doy Packs for retail repacking. The figs are kept in cold storage and shipped frozen at –18°C with a two-year shelf life, giving importers a reliable supply independent of the harvest season.
